Climber sat on the rock, pondering the veterinarian’s words. His tail would grow back, but not if it was already sewn back on. Surely it would be against the Hippocratic Oath to amputate and reattach a tail ten times in a row, and veterinarians were beholden to the Hippocratic Oath… right? Climber didn’t want to risk it, and made as certain as possible that his origami calendar-hat was marked five days hence before setting off for Lin’s nest.
