You know, I never thought about this, but I’m trying to think of whether the skins and Ed will get along. Ed treats skin and fur with the upmost respect while painting it, and the skins, in their own way, treat skin with the upmost respect as well. Sure, their respect may be a little… off, but that’s only according to owr culture. I’m sure they would be very careful with the most precious skin, and less careful with skin that’s not worth having. Then again, with the conflicts in culture, maybe they wouldn’t actually get along. What do you guys think?
The skin lizards kind of look like Boneclaw Mother… Y’know, with the stitched hoods and all?
First time here’n all, so I don’t know if I’m reiterating a moot point.
I liked the humor. “I can hear you.” We’ve been getting into some pretty dark content in the last few posts. It was nice to be reminded that even in the darkest situations that if there is humor there is still hope. I wonder if Murai has beaten all of the folks heading her way yet.
@Hawk: I think the skins would love that. I’ll bet the only reason they knew where he was and where all the cold servents are is because they’ve yearned his skin so long.
Skin-painter meets Skin-lizards? Oh yes, this can’t help but be a really interesting meeting.
My bet is that Ed will want to paint them … or maybe, for something from way out in left field, he will recognize one of the skins they’re wearing …
😯
Don’t forget to VOTE, and thanks to Atre again for posting the voting link way up yonder!
She’s at least as close to Ed as she is to Murai, so I wonder, since Ed’s skin is probably at least better quality than Murai’s, if the two of them together (Digger and Ed) wouldn’t be so high quality that only the Chosen One of the skin people could wear it.
I should probably stop before I go off on this vein at length.
I think that with such respect between both Ed and the Skins for…well…skins, that Ed would be some kind of cultural hero/god to the skins as he would be able to better enhance the skins of the Skins.
“It is very stupid inside its thin grey skin.” I really like this. My students have papers due in a little more than 24 hours. At this point, most of the intelligent questions have been asked. The closer it gets to deadline, the dumber the questions get. I will be thinking that those students are very stupid inside their thin skins (of a variety of colors). I just love how some of these turns of phrase get inside your brain and stick around!
How much YOU love the skins? We’d never forget how much WE love the skins! 😀
They will kill and skin you in the most polite and complimentary fashion possible. (:
AWESOOOOME. I love the names of god thing, as well. The skins are my favorite. 🙂
Man, that typewriter font is hell of creepy. I never noticed before.
YES. Here is the skins again? Yes. Are very entertaining. Yes. Have serious social blindness. Not very, just have different rules.
Ooh! My turn to say it…

Yes, indeed it is very stupid. Yes, my precious.
Yay! Skins on my Birthday 😛

I think they might fall into a discussion about skin, which DIgger would then need to curtail in order to get on with the mission!
Maybe Digger should promise them some god skin. That *would* be the most precious skin, would it not?

*giggle* I like this comic.
The whole family looked at me funny because I laughed so loud!
@Ursula: me too. XD

Anyone have a link to the last appearance of the Skins?

Lol. “I can hear you, you know!” I wonder if they’re going to try and get her skin again…with a little pat on her paw.

silly skins ….remember to “soliloquy” and not to “monologue” it really makes a difference if you want to keep all your teeth intact XD

Remember if the Gods did not allow us to go through trials how would we ever gain Xp?
by cutting a billion beard a la FATAL?
WH: Never mention the Game That Must Not Be Named.
Oh gods, that game….grrrr….
Now, the question is – having been tied up and forced last time, will the skins want to be helpful this time?
“The Small Mammal is stupid, Comrade!”
“I’m standing right here!”
*Pounce!* *Bang!* *Crash!*
“Stupid STUPID rat creatures!”
But the skins, although just as cute, aren’t stupid like the rat creatures. Or as fond of quiche.
I’m surprised they’d call Digger’s skin ‘thin’, though. But maybe they’re just ignoring her rear end. It’s a good insult, anyhow.
