Re-reading this… Digger never really looked female to me before, but in these early panels she does. Anyway, <3 the comic, keep up the good work!
With that gruff wombat appearance, it’s pretty hard later on to distiguish gender. We haven’t seen any other wombats yet though, so maybe Digger is just a masculine female.
Well there is the fact she’s all marsupial and such.

I had the strangest way of reading the lines “im gonna die, they’re gonna eat me goodbye” as a rap. hmm…emenem most likely.
