  1. linda says:

    is deceive spelled wrong?

  2. Aelfwine says:

Well, it’s only to be expected that Grim Eyes is a bit the sexist, I reckon. 😉

  3. Rags says:

Yup, they’ll get along like a house on fire. In the middle of an earthquake.

  4. Richard says:

Whoa, random font change! It’s like they’re yelling when I’m pretty sure they should be whispering. If the apology’s going to accomplish anything. 🙂

  5. Haven says:

The lettering shift is quite jarring.

  6. Kayru says:

I’m bugged by the font size change. And worried about Grim Eyes and Herne… each is from a culture in which they are the dominant gender…

  7. ShadoCat says:

Richard, the blacks and whites look a bit flatter here too.

  8. Trogdog says:

    nice, gender role reversal sexism.

  9. Tetrominon says:

Facepalm Digger is practically clipart by this point.

  10. Roach says:

OK, still on my first readthrough, so I don’t know what’ll happen… but the way grim Eyes reacts, sounds awfully suspicious to me. Very much like at least three couples I’ve known, shortly before they realized they _were_ couples…

Grim Eyes’ happy smile doesn’t help this impression one bit, I must admit.

  11. JET73L says:

Once you get past the sexism, she’s actually being even more racist (species-ist?) than usual. But she does sound like a stuck-in-the-fifties, big-business, harassment-lawsuit-waiting-to-happen sort of character at the moment. Someday, I believe I will go through the archives specifically to do a running count of Digger’s facepalms.

  12. Silver Guardian says:

I may do the same thing.

  13. TekServer says:

Wow, I had completely forgotten that Jet73L had mentioned doing a facepalm count!

There’s no need to do that, Silver Guardian, unless you want to check my work: I’ve already done the facepalm count and published it. You can click on my username to see it.

  14. Silver Guardian says:

    Thanks, Tek, 🙂

  15. TekServer says:

    You’re quite welcome.
