Can I just point out the line “But she’s not a Hyena, her motives may be pure”. Someone doesn’t like hyenas!
More likely someone doesn’t think that Hyenas not born to The Tribe could have pure motives for trying to join it.

I think that was sarcasm, I’m not sure.
I think I like the one on the far right, it seems like she (he?)’s giving Digger a bit of a heads up without being totally obvious.

I read it as “Because she is not a hyena, what could she gain from joining our tribe beyond the redemption of Skull Ridges? With nothing else to gain, her motives may be pure.”
