That reminds me, haven’t seen a pack or a pick-axe on ole Digger in a while. Is she forgetting her roots and homespun wisdom!?
When did Digger say she was going to the funeral, or the hyenas asked/told her to? I can’t seem to remember.
Is it my imagination, or do those trees have faces?
Kind of a grumpy one on the left, and a tilted smiling one at the bottom of the right.

I did see them until you pointed them out. I don’t think they’re meant to be faces, but they do sort of look like it.
If she’s telling Digger to come armed, she may have to arrange several funerals if Digger’s attacked.
I like the way Grim Eyes is drawn in the first panel… but her ears seem much bigger there than in the second and subsequent panels… or is it just me?
I was about to comment on how Grim Eyes looks like a jackal in the first panel, Xyon. Well, actually, she looks like Anubis, but same concept. 😛
Myself, I’ve noticed that the exact size and shaping of the hyenas tend to change from time to time.
