I love the style of the first panel.
It doesn’t surprise me, but I still like that even as Digger is fleeing for her life her mind is on other people and their safety.
We all well know of Ursula’s phenomenal accuracy to biology and mythology, but just for the record:
The “laughing” noise people associate with hyenas is a specific expression, usually of danger or fear (among many other noises they make).
Which means that the sound effect Ursula uses for the hyenas in these pages is dead-on. Of course.
Just another reason to love this comic 🙂
