“Next best thing to Untouchable”… kind of an unfortunate word choice with the Hindu motif.

  2. TekServer says:

I love the admonition in the last pane …

    😉

  3. Lee says:

    I love the Hag. If I were a fanfic writer, I’d be writing Digger/Hag — they’re a perfect love/hate match!

  4. Emily says:

That’s slightly disturbing, Lee… but you DID say ‘fanfiction,’ and I cant recall a time when fanfiction wasnt disturbing.

  5. Lica says:

I can recall many times actually, but that was my own experience. Though, I think the actual disturbing part is more related to “shipping”, and I assure you shipping comes in more than just fanfiction, yup…

  6. BunnyRock says:

wOOOOOp! wOOOOOp! This is the Captain speaking! Rival paring proposed! Prepare for ship-to-ship combat! All hands to battle-stations! We’ll not let the good ship Hag/Ocular slug go down without a fight!

But captain! Hag/Digger could prove a valuable ally in fighting of the kriegsmarine pocket-battleship Digger/Ed, the most sick and wrong ship ever proposed! Well, apart from the Super-Battleship SMS Hermione-Harry, but that was snuck by the cannon’s of canon in the great war of ’07, the battle of the 21 July if I recall! And we’re just a crack-pairing class cruiser, we need allies! Allies other than the HMS Surka/Statue!

Very well Lieutenant-commander El-ahrairant, retreat from the theatre of combat: let’s sit this shipping-war out and hope the more disturbing parings destroy each other. Make it so!

  7. JET73L says:

Ah, how it is to see the hag slowly sink into resignation about Digger staying out of situations that supercede her instructions.

  8. TekServer says:

BunnyRock: you don’t, by any chance, comment on “Evil Diva” under a different name, do you? I ask because your post here is very reminiscent of some of the grand naval “shipping” battles that occurred in the comments there in years past.

    😉

  9. Squeegy says:

Unfortunately, in this naval combat, I’m afraid I’m the Captain of the proud Deutschland-class cruiser Digger/Ed. And I will go down with this ship.
