Okay, apparently my notes are too long for the comment field. Not surprising.

Let me see if I can figure out another way to do this …

Well, it’s not perfect, but I at least found a temporary home on the web for the text file I’ve been using to make my notes. You can find it here for the next week or so: http://fileurls.com/myitcj

I’ll see If I can’t come up with something a little more permanent for the archives …
    😉

  2. TekServer says:

Okay, it’s still not real pretty, but I cleaned it up a little, and made all the URLS hyperlinks, and published it through Google Docs. You can now find it here: http://docs.google.com/View?id=ddw7gbbt_0fm93t5hj

Feel free to look it over, and let me know if you disagree with any of my decisions on the facepalm count. I’ll take your opinion into consideration, but I make no promises that I’ll change anything. (Unless you’re Ursula; then your opinion carries extra weight.)

  3. You know that Digger has finally fused itself into your soul when you wake up in the morning, put your feet on the cold hard ground, and the first words out of your mouth are, “Blood and Shale.”

  4. Um, I’m not happy. Digger is 58 in the polls right now. 58 are they ought of their flipping mind. Vote like the wind y’all.

  5. TekServer says:

58th (or 55th now) is not bad at all for a webcomic with no vote incentives and no permanent voting link. I suspect that Digger is like most webcomics, in that 95% or more of the readers only read the comic, and never read (and probably aren’t even aware of) these comments.

So getting 55th from 5% or less of the readership voting is pretty awesome, when you think of it that way.
That said, there’s no reason we can’t keep pushing and reminding people to vote early and vote often!

It’s dangerous to go alone! Take this. /crowbar

@Ponyhome now now, I’ve met some very well tempered ferrets. I’ve also been given a scar on my right thumb from one I got into a dispute over the ownership of a dead rabbit with which just goes to show… something or other. I still rate ferreting as safer than falconry by a long shot despite it. Ferrets may bite down to the bone if they want to, but I’ve seen some of the birds at the local falconry club, and they’ve got devils in them. They don’t need a hood, they need a full body bind, Hannibal Lector style. The last village fete I was at a goshawk got away from the falconry display and took a chunk out of the falconer and disembowelled one of the fluffy soft toys they were giving away as prizes at the coconut shy and then perched on the war memorial and sulked for half an hour before they could temp it back to glove with food. I think it was a bit upset as the bells on the Morris dancers may have spooked it. And theysabet …. now I just want to find a crowbar and decorate it with Ringerike art with niello and etching so I can be a crowbar-Viking!

    “Relax,” said the night man
    “We are programmed to receive”

  10. grahamf says:

“we endeavor to please” That REALLY sounds like something an employee at a retail/fast food chain with a strict customer policy would say.
Welcome to the temple of Ganesh we endeavor to please. thank you and have a nice day.”

  11. EveryZig says:

If crowbars are good for fighting trans-dimensional empires, they should be useful against gods.

  12. deadly says:

That is just phenomenal, “It is a crowbar.” You deserve so many internets for that, Ms Vernon.

  13. Latrone says:

Gordon Freeman approves this choice of weapon.

  14. Ellemerr says:

Tek; awesome tally. You’re mad and we love you for it. xD

BunnyRock; Crowbar-viking?! Wheee! Can I join? I’m only mediocre with a crowbar, but I fancy I could make a decent skald… So I could record your awesome crowbar-wielding vikingness, perhaps? I know a guy who knows a guy who makes long ships! It’ll be awesome! We can get a shrew captain! Pleeease? *kitty eyes*
