Why do I sense a “yet” unspoken?
The statue has probably been destroyed.
Nah – they will tiptoe inside, move up to the statue and there will be a cough from behind them and it will be ol’ Crawdad-pants himself and a squillion Veiled guards.

Am I the only one sensing Murai being in cognitive dissonance aboue the whole situation?
I have three things to say to all this:
1. No, no not quite yet crazy girl.
2. I think I’ve missed the sign post as much as Ursula has. I nearly forgot about it.
3. I’m noticing that we only see the roof. What does [b]that[/b] show us? Maybe the door has been kicked in or something.
The outside looks fine. It’s always the inside that’s a problem, isn’t it. With more than just temples.
I’m suddenly afraid to know what’s inside…
Giant tongues that point to temples are always in good taste, yes? Sorry, it’s early, I’m not at the top of my punning.
You know you’re having a bad week when someone says, in all earnestness, “See? And it’s not on fire or anything!”
And now the “fun” will begin in earnest!
Should I feel bad for my gleeful anticipation of the chaos that is sure to come in the coming weeks?

Not on fire is GOOD. It’s a GOOD start. Is it still intact inside, though?
Then they walk in and find themselves amidst a massive three-way battle between the winged rats, the skins, and the cold servants. The witch is standing in the sidelines because she just knows that Digger is gonna show up at the craziest, most dangerous place around and is going to need patching up afterwards.
Everyone seems to be just waiting for something wild to happen. Am I the only one who was greatly relieved/relaxed to see the town, a-OK as it may or may not be?

Yeah, everything seems OK: No flaming ruins, no compound fractures, no arterial bleeding…… 7@=Q
