It’s interesting how Murai compared Shadowchild eating the shadows to a god eating the essence of a sacrifice, for far too many reasons to list without actually putting them in list format.
…Now I want to run trials to see how Shadowchild’s interpretation of shadows’ tastes relates to carnivores’, omnivores’, and herbivores’ interpretations of the tastes of the remaining flesh, and (thanks to my ongoing years as an experimental chef) if you could “cook” for Shadowchild by having it attempt to consume the shadows of several things of varying flavor at the same time.
I love how logical Murai is, even if she IS insane.
The pointed-up finger makes it. She’s like a professor giving a lecture, which is wonderful combined with her personality.
“It was flaky and moist!” which could also be said of Murai on a rainy day, I suppose. :p
