Unless you’re Cantonese, apparently. They’ll eat anything.
And before anyone jumps on me, know that I am half-Cantonese and I will eat nearly anything that doesn’t move (a hang-up that not everyone in my family shares).
Thank you Fishboy for given the Cosmic Horror that occasionally terrorizes my dreams terrifying minions, Sapient Komodo dragons (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/7443648.stm) are a delightful addition to a dream which already has giant 60 foot amphibious Snakes, Mind control, being implied to being hit by a train while under mind control* and a tentacled Cosmic Horror becoming Abomination Emperor of Mankind. Trying to ensure I don’t get bitten by one of them while trying to futilely save a dream earth that has versions of all my friends and family in it will really make a truly terrible dream even more horrific.
*while be completely oblivious to the fact that I’m under mind control and ironically discussing with a few doomed friends of mine how to defend against mind control.
@Mark- Move to Louisiana. You can share “cook anything” recipes with us Cajuns. Eating anything that sits still down there is so rampant, even WE don’t ask what’s in the food anymore.
Be thankful you are not both English and Morbidly curious like I am. The curiosity means I’ll try anything. The Englishness means I’ll feel incredibly guilty and ashamed if I donβt finish my plate. Thankfully I’ve got over pretty much every food taboo possible this way, and will even eat Lutfisk, but it was a bumpy ride.
Oh an @ TekServer: Your realise now that I’m not going to be able to rest until I’ve perfected blackened Cajun century egg with Jellied ham hock, rice mui coi and okra?
good to see even hyenias liek their meat cooked
Man, Grim Eyes looks like Ed in that top panel… not surprising, of course, but anyway. **nods**
I think all animals who don’t feel the need to eat their prey while it’s still alive agree that meat tastes better cooked.
Or rotted. If you’re talking to a Komodo dragon…

Digger’s expression in the first panel is funny. It’s like O.o “What am I doing here?”

Hmm … Cantonese/Cajun cuisine. Now there’s a mind bending combination …

Eugene, I guess I’m just strange for liking meat rare, and that’s only to kill the germs and warm it a bit.
Octane: Also to make sure it doesn’t kick. π
I’ve been known to enjoy a blue steak now and again.

Ha! Let me know how it comes out …
Boneclaw’s expression in panel one! XD
So, BunnyRock, did you ever manage to perfect this recipe?
