I think of the slurp as more of a mother-hyena-cleaning-her-pup thing. Technically, Boneclaw Mother is now Digger’s adopted mother, so she’d treat her as her pup.
By the fact that Shadebones was named by Boneclaw Mother as her successor, and the aforementioned details about hyenas being matriarchal, I’d have to say she’s a girl. 🙂
