I don’t know anyone as straightforward as the Shadowchild, and I guess that’s why I love it. It never seems s/he/it understands that not everyone knows the things it knows, and thus it makes some… interesting comments. Shadowchild will always be my favourite digger character.
Well, along with Ed, who’s about as deep and wonderful in his comments, and the Vampire Squash for obvious reasons. ^.^
Make some room! Kick madness to the curb, never take redrumredrumredrum for an answer, nobody gets left behind!
…Hmm, I wonder if the shadows are actually blinders. Not something that a human can’t function without, but something that allows a human to function despite personal history. Like scars, if they were taken away the blood would flow as freely as it once did, and to experience a lifetime’s worth of wounds would kill a person, or render them catatonic in the case of mental wounds.
And that is why I think it might not be a good idea for Shadowchild to eat the shadows in Murai’s head that aren’t hers. If she loses the ability to filter her memory of the dark mother…
This is, actually, a valid comment on a broken mind.
Both of them.

I’d invite Shadowchild into my mind. Lord knows there’s at least one tenant I’d be glad to evict. And he meshes well with my overall personality.
Am I the only one who occasionally thinks of GIR when I see Shadow?
While not the personality, but Shadowchild’s poses remind me a lot of Richard from Looking For Group.
Nyktipolos, I see it too! I was reading LFG until I came across Digger, which kind of pushed it to one side 😛
I can just hear Shadowchild singing the “Doom” song, Jon!
Soooo… what we’re getting from the collective is a mix between Gir and Richard?
*eyetwitch*
I was wondering if anyone else shared that thought. Shadowchild does indeed remind me both of Richard and of Gir, and has since his… its… debut.
If GIR were basically sane, yeah…
….a mix between Gir and Richard…
Mwahahahahaha
Yes…
…
But doesn’t Richard have a doom song?
Party in Murai’s head!

@Jon … Aaaaaand now Shadowchild will forever have GIR’s voice as I read. Gee. Thanks. *facepalm*
@Murasaki Kind of? http://www.lfgcomic.com/video.php Do perverted Disney songs count?
