Tindi, that is a quite ominous observation, which would not have occurred to me had I not read the comments. OTOH, Jhalm intercepted the messenger on its way back after delivering the message, while it was “dawdling”, which might make a difference.

So maybe he isn’t so much intercepting them, as being odd.
