I love your easter eggs.
Aye! As if the art itself weren’t reward enough for seeing it, there’s a little treat now and then to make it even better.
All the modern sayings in this comic are just sprinkles on the icing on the cake.”Cave fish do it in the dark,” “Gastropodz rule,” and so on. Classic. And I love how it’s not a mention of one person (or beign?) in particular. It’s never “Larry wuz here” it’s always about the whole group. I got mad love for Vernon’s cute little graffitti-ing creatures. Hopefully there will be more.
Me, I like the mouth of the creature from which our heroes walk in this big panel. See the teeth on either side of the path, and above that? Se the two little round eyes in and at the top of the mouth? (sure, eyes don’t belong in a mouth, but weird we have seen in this strip and this world, my friends…)
“Skin you as politely as possible” Such a perfect way to put that! “We would be careful, yes, very VERY careful.” XD
… and rogues do it from behind.
A great place for a picnic indead. With polite, savage, skinning lizards made of skin.
…do those fish talk in limericks?
…and dwarves like to go down
