My mother uses a service dog – a diabetic alert dog. When she gets home from an outing on which he has come along, he precedes her into the house. He then immediately turns around at the door and greets her as if he has been awaiting her return for hours.
I can’t see Ed, but I can tell he’s overjoyed and it makes me happy 🙂
