The only thing I don’t like about the switch is that we appear to have lost your commentary in the process, and thus new readers won’t know about the “Thunder of Worms” line.
yes I miss the old comments. Thunder of Worms still remains a good name for a band, and I miss the “wormsign 200 clicks! get this thing in the air: Spice be dammed!” comment.
Good lord Wuse, Now i feel like we’ve become those two old men in the pub who complain about how good it was years and years ago.
i do miss the old comments – tho I didnt read some before and am only hearing about them on this my 2nd read through – but i’m enjoying the Stadler & Waldorf sideline in the comments just as much 🙂
Those old comments were grand. Some new nice ones too, though. I’m glad we have you two “old men in the pub” to remember them for us, BunnyRock. Talk more about archeology, will you? Or was it geology? There used to be a lot of tunnels-and-rocks talk here that always went way over my head. And I loved it!
Speaking of archaeology, I used the power of the Internet Archive to locate some of the old commentary.
The one for this page is:
“I really wish there had been a way to phrase this as “A thunder of worms.” Because I like that phrase. That’s a phrase with soul. Worm thunder on the horizon, all is right with the cosmos…”

Oooh, it’s getting all quantum physics now… neat. LOVE the artwork!
Elsewhere, hrm?

*hugs Wuse* You’re the solution to my bad memory! Or well, parts of it, anyway. Thank you!
