… though this is the first time in a good long while (or ever? not sure now) that there’s been no update at all, not even “Hey guys, I’m sick/out of town/moving and can’t post a strip today.” Be well, Ursula! We’ll be here when you get back from whatever.
@BunnyRock – sometimes a fuller understanding of the Hippocratic oath requires being prepared to do a little harm in order to promote the greater health. Sorta like having to re-break a partially healed fracture in order to reset it properly. Using something non-lethal but potent to…er, dissuade…Jhalm from doing something he might later regret strikes me as falling square into that category.
And if I’m wrong and you’re right – can’t say as how I’d blame Owl-Caller anyways!
I’d say this isn’t so much an example of Owl Caller breaking the Hyena Hippocratic Oath, but of him calling an exemption of extent. In this case, judging Boneclaw Mother competent and sensible enough to decide whether taking Jhalm down would save more bloodshed, and giving her the tools to do so.
@Inlaid: Post-con slog, I suspect.

Well, while Ursula sleeps off the funk, don’t forget to vote – we’re at 22 but could do better!!

…. quite a lot. Do you want the world news first, or were you looking for a general philosophical overview?

She is known for her left hook after all 😀
